Job Description: This hands-on position is ideal for a skilled detailer who can independently complete high-quality interior and exterior vehicle reconditioning. The Senior Automotive Detailer will help ensure vehicles are clean, polished, and ready for customer delivery while meeting dealership quality and turnaround-time standards.
Key Responsibilities
Complete full interior and exterior vehicle details
Wash, vacuum, shampoo, polish, wax, and clean windows and door jambs
Operate buffers, polishers, extractors, vacuums, and other detailing equipment
Perform minor paint correction, buffing, and scratch removal when needed
Inspect vehicles for damage, stains, scratches, or quality concerns
Complete final quality checks before vehicles are released
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
Report equipment, supply, safety, or vehicle concerns to management
QualificationsRequired Qualifications
At least 2 years of professional automotive detailing experience
Experience completing full interior and exterior details independently
Knowledge of detailing tools, chemicals, and safe handling procedures
Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship
Ability to work efficiently and manage multiple vehicles
Reliable transportation and full-time availability
Ability to stand, bend, kneel, and work around vehicles for extended periods
Preferred Experience
Dealership or high-volume reconditioning experience
Buffing, polishing, paint correction, or ceramic coating experience
Experience supporting or training less-experienced detailers
Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record
