About this role
- Develop an in-depth product knowledge on WorkforceOptimizer product lines
- Work closely with software developers and business analyst to develop test specifications and build test cases to rigorously test product functionality and investigate all potential product test failures
- Convert business requirements into test plans and test cases
- Reproduce and meticulously document software defects, make recommendations for product enhancements where appropriate
- Participate in all aspects of testing, including functional, regression, load/performance and system testing.
- Develop automated testing scripts for complex environments
- Define, develop and implement quality assurance practices and procedures, test plans and other QA assessments; establish standards and best practices for the use within the Agile Scrum methodology; define and track quality assurance metrics such as defect densities and open defect counts
- Mentor junior QA engineers
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math)
- 2+ years of experience in testing large and complex enterprise web applications with focus on automation QA
- 2+ years of hands on experience of developing automated test suites using Selenium or similar tools
- Experience in testing software products in JAVA / J2EE and Web environment
- Excellent knowledge of Internet / Web technologies
- Team player with excellent oral and written communication skills
- Good working knowledge of Windows environment and SQL database
- Experience implementing API-level test cases is highly desirable
- Exposure to full life-cycle commercial product development environment is highly desirable
