Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-oriented individual to join our team as a Guest Services Associate. In this dynamic role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests across various areas, including the entrance, customer service, locker, patio, and VIP section. Your primary focus will be ensuring an enjoyable and memorable experience for all our visitors.

Responsibilities:

  • Reports directly to Operations Coordinator and/or Managers on site.
  • Welcome guests with a friendly and welcoming demeanor at the entrance, answering any questions and providing directions as needed.
  • Provide outstanding customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving complaints, and ensuring guest satisfaction throughout their visit.
  • Manage and assist customers with lockers.
  • Complete Ticket scanning and distributing wristbands to customers
  • Oversee patio/EMT services, ensuring a safe and comfortable environment for guests, responding promptly to any medical emergencies or incidents, and coordinating with appropriate personnel when necessary.
  • Provide exceptional service to guests in the VIP section, attending to their needs, ensuring their comfort, and addressing any special requests.
  • Assist with event coordination and execution, including setting up and dismantling VIP areas, arranging seating, and coordinating with event staff to ensure a seamless experience.
  • Maintain accurate records of inventory, sales, and guest interactions, utilizing appropriate systems and procedures.
  • Uphold safety protocols and procedures, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and guidelines.
  • Collaborate effectively with team members to ensure smooth operations during peak periods and special events.
  • Stay updated on current promotions, events, and activities to provide accurate and up-to-date information to guests.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in hospitality, customer service, or a related field is preferred.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage with guests of all ages and backgrounds.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail to effectively manage multiple tasks and prioritize responsibilities.
  • Ability to remain calm and composed in stressful situations, demonstrating problem-solving skills and a positive attitude.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as per the event schedule.
  • Physical stamina and the ability to stand, walk, and lift objects for extended periods.
  • A passion for delivering exceptional customer service and creating a memorable experience for guests.

Work Environment

This position generally requires that work be performed at Wollman Rink, but attendance at events taking place at the rink or offsite, including on weekends and/or holidays, may be required.
