Responsible for guiding daily warehouse operations, leading staff, ensuring accurate shipping/receiving, managing inventory, using WMS, maintaining safety, and fulfilling orders efficiently, requiring leadership, problem-solving, and experience with warehouse equipment like forklifts and WMS. Focus on team performance, workflow optimization, and supporting overall logistics goals in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
Leadership: Lead and direct warehouse team members, assigning tasks, monitoring performance, and ensuring timely completion of work.
Operations Management: Oversee daily activities including shipping, receiving, order fulfillment, and returns processing, ensuring smooth workflow.
Inventory Control: Manage inventory accuracy through cycle counts, physical inventory, and use of WMS/ERP systems.
Safety & Compliance: Enforce warehouse safety procedures, conduct equipment inspections (PPE, Electric pallet jacks, forklifts), and ensure compliance with standards.
Training: Train new staff on warehouse procedures, policies, and equipment operation.
Coordination: Communicate with supervisors and other departments for seamless operations.
QualificationsEducation & Experience
High school diploma or GED required.
3-5 years in warehouse, logistics, or materials handling.
Skills
Familiarity with WMS/ERP software, Microsoft Office (Excel, Word).
Ability to operate pallet jacks, forklifts, Electric jack.
Strong leadership, communication, problem-solving, organization, attention to detail, and ability to work collaboratively.
