Operations Support Lead - 2nd Shift

Overview
Starting at $22.25 per hour. The Operations Support Crew Leader will assist with daily shipping and dock operations to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and timely shipment completion. This position works closely with the Shipping Supervisor and other department leads, as well as clerical staff. This position serves as a trained backup for all shipping lead responsibilities.
The shift is from 3PM-11:30PM Monday through Friday.

What You'll Do
- Train in and provide backup coverage for all shipping lead roles.
- Perform mass logouts in shipping systems to maintain accurate operational records.
- Monitor shipping efficiency and ensure processes are being followed correctly; report issues to the supervisor as needed.
- Maintain and update pickup sheets; identify missed loads and communicate with clerks for follow-up.
- Assist in guiding work flow of the clerical team to ensure work flows to the floor in an accurate and timely manor.
- Review Goods Issue and Picking Boards to ensure orders are ship-completed correctly by clerical staff.
- Walk the shipping floor with the Dock Lead to confirm all shipments that should have departed are cleared.
- Clean, and maintain 916/917 bins.
- Verify and process all small pack invoices accurately.
What We're Looking For
- Experience in shipping, dock, or warehouse operations preferred
- Strong attention to detail and organization
- Ability to identify issues and communicate effectively
- Comfortable working cross-functionally with dock, shipping, and clerical teams
- Willingness to learn multiple roles and support leadership functions
- Professional, team-oriented approach
