Η ιστορία της Cosmos Sport ξεκινάει περίπου 40 χρόνια πριν, στη Χερσόνησο του Ηρακλείου Κρήτης, όταν το πρώτο ομώνυμο κατάστημα άνοιξε το 1982, εστιάζοντας στην ικανοποίηση του πελάτη, στο προϊόν και στην αθλητική κουλτούρα. The Group was founded in 1981 by Heiner Oberrauch to distribute sports products in the Italian market.
