About this role
Context:
On behalf of our client, Weld World is hiring a Mechanical Supplier Quality Engineer to support supplier surveillance and quality follow-up on industrial fabrication sites, working in full autonomy on-site.
This is for local standard long term contract.
Key responsibilities:
- Perform inspections on supplier workshops assignments
- Follow up on witness point during manufacturing phases (KOM, PIM, welding, NDT, painting, FAT/SAT ect ...)
- Review and comment on EoMR, procedures, and welding books
- Manage non-conformances and follow up through to closure
- Participate in kick-off meetings / PIM
