About this role
Context:
On behalf of our client, Weld World is hiring 3 Electrical Supplier Quality Engineers, one per country (France, Italy, Poland), to support supplier quality on electrical equipment — from supplier qualification to shipment release.
Key responsibilities:
- Perform surveillance inspections and witness points
- Ensure kick-off meetings with suppliers
- Set up the inspection strategy
- Support electrical vendor surveillance and supplier qualification
- Verify compliance with IEC standards (transformers, MV/LV switchgear, motors, protection & control)
- Execute FAT/SAT and witness dielectric, insulation resistance and functional tests
- Lead root cause analysis (8D, 5Why, RCA) and manage corrective/preventive actions with suppliers
- Review quality documentation (ITP, EoMR) and authorize shipment release
- Monitor supplier performance and drive quality improvement plans with underperforming vendors
