Description

SUMMARY

Provides accurate & timely costing files for pricing items to customers.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Pursue all necessary information from sales needed to create a complete estimate file 
  • When necessary consult, with internal production, design and purchasing staff to ensure run ability and accurate costing.
  • Request pricing for, and enter outside cost items into the estimate files.
  • Build pricing matrix in spec or inventory item. 
  • Deliver complete information for pricing 
  • Train and develop new associates
  • Accurately determine plant routings and cost adders. 
  • Change requests, update and maintain files
  • Build product structures. 
  • Determine correct GL code to be used in vendor record
  • Determine correct product code to be used in estimate. 
  • Determine all adders needed to produce item. 
  • Determine unitizing
  • Enter production and purchasing notes in message screen of spec. 
  • Coordinates farm outs
  • Some Pricing (simple RSC and Die cut within set guidelines)

REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS

Education:

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent Required 

Experience

  • Functioning user of Amtech operating system.
  • Ability to use email communication.
  • Experience with Artios Viewer or similar  
  • Good communication skills, organized, detail oriented, positive attitude, optimistic.

 Physical Requirements:

  • Sit and stand as needed.
  • May require walking on a level surface for periods throughout the day.
  • Reaching above shoulders, below waist and lifting as required to file documents or store materials. 
  • Lifting to 25 lbs.

Work Environment:

  • Typical office setting 
  • May require you to enter a manufacturing environment that requires proper PPE including safety shoes, safety glasses and hearing protection. 
  • Manufacturing environment may be loud, hot/cold depending on season.
