What Your Shift Looks Like

Most shifts are scheduled after school hours—afternoons, evenings, and weekends. You’ll begin by reviewing the plan for the session and checking in to set a calm, supportive tone. Time is typically spent working through structured activities and everyday routines, with adjustments based on what is effective in the moment. You’ll keep communication professional and straightforward, note key updates for continuity, and stay attentive to safety and comfort throughout the shift. Progress is often incremental—small, meaningful steps such as improved habits, increased confidence, and stronger trust over time.
