Wee Care offers Therapy Services and Home and Community-Based Services using evidence-based treatment models to help your loved one achieve and maintain the highest level of independence. Wee Care has been serving families in our community and surrounding communities since April 2006.
What You’ll Do
As a Caregiver in Yuma, you provide dependable, client-centered support to individuals with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities, helping promote safety, dignity, and greater independence during weekend shifts. You’ll follow individualized plans, assist with activities of daily living, support skill-building and community participation, document services clearly, and respond calmly to changing needs using sound problem-solving and crisis management.
Required qualifications/skills:
- Experience supporting individuals with developmental disabilities
- CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Article 9 training (or willingness to obtain)
- Level 1 Fingerprint Clearance
- Introduction to Developmental Disabilities certificate
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Strong communication/interpersonal skills and an empathetic approach
