The purpose of this position is to ensure timely and accurate collections of Accounts Receivable, preparing weekly statements and liaising with customer in relation to issue resolution.

 

This is a temporary position for six months.


Job Description

 

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Deliver on agreed  KPIs and other targets for the AR-team.
  • Weekly reconciliation of receivables prior to sending statements.
  • Weekly reporting and presentation of results to Customer Growth teams.
  • Sending weekly statements (Tuesday and Wednesday)
  • Sending payment reminders to delinquent customers/past due balances
  • Weekly follow-up calls related to past due balances.
  • Tracking payment details with customers for unapplied cash transactions
  • Support with Cash Application journal entries.
  • Processing and tracking of refunds.
  • Reconciliation and cleaning of past due balances over 16 days
  • Review follow up and resolution of aged balances >180 days

Job Requirements

WHAT YOU'LL NEED

  • University degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Economics or related field.
  • Minimum 1 year of previous experience working in Finance or Accounting area.
  • Excellent analytical skills along with the ability to communicate findings.
  • Organized and multi-task oriented.
  • Assertive, can "push" for action when needed.
  • Collaborative, problem - solving attitude towards all stakeholders (internal and external).

 

EVEN BETTER IF YOU HAVE

  • Detailed oriented with high level of concentration and process compliance.
  • Ability to analyze big data sets.
