The purpose of this position is to ensure timely and accurate collections of Accounts Receivable, preparing weekly statements and liaising with customer in relation to issue resolution.
This is a temporary position for six months.
Job Description
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Deliver on agreed KPIs and other targets for the AR-team.
- Weekly reconciliation of receivables prior to sending statements.
- Weekly reporting and presentation of results to Customer Growth teams.
- Sending weekly statements (Tuesday and Wednesday)
- Sending payment reminders to delinquent customers/past due balances
- Weekly follow-up calls related to past due balances.
- Tracking payment details with customers for unapplied cash transactions
- Support with Cash Application journal entries.
- Processing and tracking of refunds.
- Reconciliation and cleaning of past due balances over 16 days
- Review follow up and resolution of aged balances >180 days
Job Requirements
WHAT YOU'LL NEED
- University degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Economics or related field.
- Minimum 1 year of previous experience working in Finance or Accounting area.
- Excellent analytical skills along with the ability to communicate findings.
- Organized and multi-task oriented.
- Assertive, can "push" for action when needed.
- Collaborative, problem - solving attitude towards all stakeholders (internal and external).
EVEN BETTER IF YOU HAVE
- Detailed oriented with high level of concentration and process compliance.
- Ability to analyze big data sets.
