Roles & Responsibilities
Receive over 760,000 items annually as part of a team
Unload parts into the facility by utilizing the following equipment PIV, MHE, and Pallet Jacks
Ensure all receipts of goods are documented and verified against the packaging slip accompanying the item
Cross-check all boxes against the freight manifest and inspect them for visually identifiable external damage
Report any damage or discrepancy to the carrier immediately. Ensure the carrier documents the discrepancy on their inbound manifest. Segregate the package or items for final disposition and alert Quality Team for review
Unpack all parts within a controlled environment and prevent removal from the dock until properly received into SAP
Match customer service orders to incoming vendor repair engine parts and place the part in the approved part container
Validate quantity discrepancies, obvious damages to the parts, documentation discrepancies, part discrepancies or any other deviation to Quality Team
Route new parts and their airworthiness certification to the storeroom.
Coordinate dock activities with the Product Storeroom, Component Repair Business and Service Center.
Escalate problem parts to the Materials Supervisor too ensures timely resolution and final disposition of the item(s)
Assist in clearing documents and Open Purchase Orders by performing Goods Receipt SAP Transaction MB01 and Goods Reversal Reference SAP Transaction MB01
Monitor unloading fuel into storage tanks for engine test cells to ensure safety, no spills, etc. If there is a spill, take action to mitigate the spill in accordance with procedures
QualificationsMinimum Requirements
High school diploma or GED
Ability to read, write and communicate in English
Microsoft Office proficiency
Ability to lift 25 pounds
US work authorization
Preferred Requirements
2 years of warehouse/logistics experience
Inventory management experience
ERP system experience
