ROLE OVERVIEW
We are looking for an experienced SAP ABAP on HANA professional to build HANA-optimized, cloud-ready SAP applications integrated with AI-native capabilities such as LLMs, RAG, tool calling and agentic AI.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Develop high-performance ABAP on HANA solutions using pushdown principles
• Build CDS Views, Associations, Annotations & Authorization concepts
• Develop performance-critical logic using AMDP / SQLScript
• Design modular, scalable and testable ABAP applications
• Develop OData services and APIs
• Integrate SAP services with LLMs, RAG and AI tool orchestration
• Implement AI guardrails, evaluation frameworks and deterministic fallbacks
• Build automated unit, integration and contract testing
• Implement logging, monitoring, tracing and robust error handling
• Integrate SAP with cloud and enterprise integration platforms
• Collaborate with UX, Data, Integration and Platform teams
