About this role
The Facilities Associate is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, organized, and functional work environment. This position performs routine cleaning, facility upkeep, minor maintenance tasks, and supports daily building operations to ensure a positive experience for employees, customers, and visitors.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Perform routine cleaning and sanitation of offices, restrooms, breakrooms, common areas, and other facility spaces.
- Empty trash and recycling containers and dispose of waste properly.
- Restock restroom, kitchen, and facility supplies as needed.
- Conduct routine inspections of facility areas and report maintenance or safety concerns.
- Maintain facility grounds, including sidewalks, entrances, and outdoor common areas as assigned.
- Follow established safety procedures and company policies.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards.
- Respond promptly to facility-related requests and emergencies.
- Support contractors, vendors, and maintenance personnel as needed.
- Maintain equipment and supplies in good working order.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Frequently stand, walk, bend, stoop, kneel, and reach.
- Lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to work both indoors and outdoors in varying environmental conditions.
- Ability to safely operate cleaning and maintenance equipment.
