As a Paratransit Driver you will safely operate a paratransit vehicle and transport passengers across the Denver Metro area, while adhering to Via’s Standard Operating Procedures. In this role you will work closely with dispatch on scheduling and routes where you will be responsible for communicating and assisting passengers with disabilities and special needs.

This role will float and help support both our Paratransit & Special Contracts divisions

We have 2 full-time opportunities available

Monday-Friday AM Float: 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM (starting as early as 7:00 AM and potentially extending until 5:30 PM)
Monday-Friday PM Float: 1:00 PM to 9:30 PM (with a possible start time as early as 12:00 PM and extending as late as 10:30 PM)

Starting pay is $24.11 per hour with annual increases, with opportunity for safety bonuses.

Qualifications

19 years old or older with a high school diploma, GED or equivalent
Possess a valid Colorado Driver’s License in good standing
Reliable work history with strong punctuality and attendance
Greet passengers and maintain a safe environment
Must pass & maintain DOT & job skills physical, random drug testing, and ongoing Motor Vehicle Records checks
