JOB DESCRIPTION

Are you a passionate Consultant who thrives on engaging with customers, implementing complex software solutions, and applying your knowledge and experience to improve a customer’s business?  Vertafore is seeking a Consultant for our Professional Services organization to consult and implement Vertafore’s product Surefyre.  This includes project planning, detailed requirements gathering, system configuration, translating business requirements for technical teams, educating customers, and collaborating on key decisions to drive best practices, product adoption, and solve business challenges.  The ideal candidate will be a quick study, results-driven, a self-starter, with a strong understanding of enterprise software, a proven track record as a Consultant who exudes a creative and positive can-do attitude.  Your work will be impactful and highly valued by our customers and Vertafore

Core Requirements and Responsibilities:

Essential job functions included but are not limited to the following:

·       Be a subject matter expert with our products, capabilities, common use cases, methodology, and P&C business operations

·       Manage the full lifecycle of enterprise SaaS implementation projects from kickoff to user acceptance testing and delivery

·       Understand customer needs and translate them into configurable requirements

·       Non-technical and semi-technical configuration work within a low-code SaaS platform

·       Work with the technical implementation team to ensure technical requirements are understood and completed

·       Estimate level of effort and required resources of project work

·       Develop strong professional relationships with key customer contacts

·       Work closely with product & engineering team to ensure relevant customer feedback is considered in the roadmap and feature/bug prioritization

·       Manage multiple consulting engagements concurrently

·       Perform operational assessment post-implementation to drive product adoption, improve business operations, refine best practices, identify new consultative opportunities

·       Ability to effectively prioritize workload and tasks to meet deadlines

·       Ability to be creative and innovative

·       Ability to effectively solve problems, react to situations decisively and effectively
