Position Details
Position: E-Scooter Delivery Driver
Compensation Type: W-2 Employee
Pay Rate: $20.00/hour
Location: 1653 12th St., Santa Monica, CA 90404
Available Schedules
E-Scooter Delivery Driver – Part-Time
- Friday–Monday: 7:00 AM–1:00 PM
- Tuesday–Thursday: 1:00 PM–9:00 PM
E-Scooter Delivery Driver – Full-Time
- Tuesday–Saturday: 1:00 PM–9:00 PM
Bicycle & Scooter Repair Technician – Full-Time
- Friday–Tuesday: 9:00 PM–5:00 AM
Important
Candidates must have reliable transportation to and from the warehouse. A company van will be provided during shifts for E-Scooter Delivery Drivers to complete job duties. You must be able to commute to the Santa Monica warehouse and work one of the available schedules. If you are unable to meet these requirements, we kindly ask that you refrain from applying.
Job Summary
Veo seeks operations professionals who are passionate about providing riders with an excellent experience by maintaining our vehicles and continually improving the efficiency of our fleet operations.
E-Scooter Delivery Drivers locate, swap batteries, and rebalance vehicles throughout the city while performing quality checks and minor repairs. Bicycle & Scooter Repair Technicians are responsible for inspecting, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing Veo's fleet of bicycles and scooters to ensure vehicles are safe and ready for riders.
The ideal candidate for either role will be a team player who loves to solve problems, work with their hands, and stay active throughout an entire shift.
E-Scooter Delivery Driver Responsibilities
- Follow mobile app instructions to complete shift tasks
- Drive a company van to locate scooters and swap batteries
- Rebalance scooters from low-demand to high-demand areas
- Perform basic repairs and quality checks
- Respond to on-demand requests to locate and retrieve scooters
- Other duties as assigned
Bicycle & Scooter Repair Technician Responsibilities
- Inspect bicycles and scooters for safety and functionality
- Diagnose and repair mechanical issues
- Perform routine maintenance and quality checks
- Troubleshoot vehicle issues and replace damaged components
- Maintain an organized and safe repair workspace
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications & Skills
- 21+ years old for Delivery Driver positions
- Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record for Delivery Driver positions
- Have a smartphone and be app-savvy
- Ability to lift scooters weighing up to 60 lbs without assistance
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Comfortable working in a hands-on, physically active environment
Nice to Haves
- Knowledge of the local geography and street layout
- Flexible schedule, including early morning, night, and weekend shifts
- Related experience in warehouse, manufacturing, delivery, repair, maintenance, or similar hands-on work
- Previous bicycle, scooter, automotive, or mechanical repair experience for Technician candidates
