JOB SUMMARY
The Legal, Risk & Compliance Program Administrator provides advanced administrative, paralegal, governance, risk, and operational support to the Legal, Risk, and Compliance (LRC) team. This role supports the coordination of key LRC workflows, documentation processes, audit readiness activities, vendor management reviews, fraud reporting, governance administration, and risk-related initiatives. This position plays an important role in maintaining accurate records, supporting timely completion of audit and governance requests, coordinating documentation across stakeholders, and helping ensure the integrity and completeness of legal, risk, compliance, and operational reporting. The role requires strong judgment, discretion, organization, attention to detail, and the ability to manage competing priorities while working with confidential and sensitive information. Success in this role includes ensuring audit requests and action items are completed on schedule, maintaining accurate governance and reporting documentation, supporting timely vendor review completion, maintaining complete and well-organized documentation repositories, and helping strengthen LRC processes, internal controls, and operational practices.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Administrative and Paralegal Support (35%)
- Provide advanced administrative, paralegal, and legal operations support for LRC initiatives.
- Prepare correspondence, reports, meeting materials, regulatory documentation, executive summaries, and other business-critical materials.
- Support contract administration, legal intake processes, document production, document review workflows, and tracking of legal and compliance-related requests.
- Coordinate with internal business partners, external stakeholders, vendors, auditors, and legal partners to support timely completion of LRC initiatives.
- Support the vendor management lifecycle, including coordinating reviews, collecting documentation, tracking follow-up items, and assisting with executive reporting.
- Handle sensitive and confidential information with a high degree of professionalism, judgment, accuracy, and discretion.
Operational Coordination, Documentation & Governance Support (25%)
- Coordinate and administer LRC workflows, documentation processes, policy tracking, periodic reviews, certifications, filings, and governance documentation.
- Maintain team calendars, reporting schedules, workflow trackers, and governance-related materials to support timely completion of business, audit, and governance requirements.
- Support the development, maintenance, and continuous improvement of procedures, process documentation, operational practices, and internal controls.
- Assist with the administration of governance programs, committee materials, board-related documentation, and recurring reporting processes.
- Exercise independent judgment in identifying risks, escalating concerns, prioritizing business and operational activities, and ensuring appropriate follow-through on open items.
- Contribute to process improvements that enhance audit readiness, documentation accuracy, workflow visibility, and operational efficiency.
Audit and Documentation Management (20%)
- Administer departmental repositories and document management systems to support audit readiness, record retention, evidence collection, and review activities.
- Facilitate intake, documentation, tracking, and follow-up of access management requests that support audit readiness.
- Administer access to departmental systems, including Prevalent, LexisNexis, DocuSign, and other LRC-related tools or repositories.
- Coordinate the collection, organization, validation, and tracking of documentation supporting internal audits, vendor reviews, SOC 2-related requests, governance reviews, and other business or compliance reviews.
- Monitor audit requests, documentation needs, and action items to help ensure timely completion and appropriate follow-up across business partners.
- Assist with preparation of reports, dashboards, audit summaries, evidence logs, and operational metrics for management, governance committees, and other stakeholders.
- Maintain complete, accurate, and well-organized documentation repositories to support transparency, auditability, and business continuity.
Fraud Reporting, Risk Tracking, and Investigations Support (20%)
- Support intake, documentation, tracking, reporting, and resolution of fraud events, phishing attempts, employment scams, and other risk incidents.
- Maintain risk and fraud management records, dashboards, reporting tools, and related documentation to help identify trends, recurring issues, and mitigation opportunities.
- Conduct preliminary research and gather supporting documentation for investigations, reporting obligations, internal reviews, and risk-related inquiries.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders to ensure accurate documentation, timely escalation of identified risks, and appropriate follow-through on open items.
- Support enterprise risk activities by helping maintain documentation, reporting, and tracking processes aligned to risk management frameworks, internal controls, and governance expectations.
QUALIFICATIONS
Education & Training
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- Coursework, training, or continuing education in Compliance, Risk Management, Business Administration, Legal Studies, Paralegal Studies, Governance, or a related discipline preferred.
Licensure & Certification
- Certified Paralegal (CP), Certified Compliance and Ethics Professional (CCEP), or related certification preferred.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Knowledge of business operations, legal operations, compliance program administration, governance processes, risk management principles, audit readiness practices, and internal controls.
