JOB FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES: The following sets forth the primary responsibilities of this job but is not an exhaustive list. The Organization, through its managers and supervisors, reserves the right to assign any additional duties necessary to meet the needs of our patients, partners and/or employees.
1. Manages all operational aspects of the organization’s website environment and its properties.
2. Responsible for content management system and assets throughout the websites as well as working with marketing teams to develop and implement web-based marketing campaigns.
3. Writes structured application/interface code from specifications conforming to established methodology, approved programming languages, standards, and best practices.
4. Maintains and promotes organizational brand standards by distributing approved logos and brand assets and reviewing marketing materials and proofs prior to production or publication.
5. Implements approved website changes that maintain current standards, correct defects, modify or enhance website’s function.
6. Provides website reviews to ensure adherence to brand standards, website design specifications and conventions.
7. Creation of all campaign microsites, landing pages and other relevant web-based content.
8. Administration and preservation of the website system environments: preview, Staging/QA and production environments.
9. Documents and records all changes to all sites: plugins, codes, interface, security, etc.
10. Manages assigned web publishing and creative production timely and accurately.
11. Facilitates training of new features, functions, versions and tools used by users interacting with the platform (web publisher team, creative team, stores, etc.).
12. Ability to understand the campaign goals and to recommend appropriate web-based resources to meet their needs.
13. Develops graphic design materials and marketing collateral for internal and external use, including print materials, signage, and large-format displays. Coordinates with external vendors on production and installation.
14. Assists with evaluating site changes from a business strategy perspective and helps develop strategic plans for Valley Hope's digital cross-channel presence.
15. Contributes to organic and paid search optimization efforts, including SEO strategy, implementation, and resource management.
16. Generates analytic reporting that includes web traffic and trend measurements.
17. In cooperation with the end user, tests website changes to assure accuracy, integrity, interoperability and completeness to achieve desired results.
18. Adheres to Valley Hope’s clinical philosophies, policies, and procedures as well as any other regulating bodies to ensure quality patient care.
19. Participates in all assigned staff meetings, staff development, and training as required.
20. Interacts and communicates with others (patients, co-workers, management, and vendors) in a professional and tactful manner including treating them with respect and consideration regardless of their status or position.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
Required: minimum amounts of education or experience required to qualify for the job.
• Bachelor’s degree in Web Designer, Digital Experience, Digital Technology, or related computer science field or relevant job experience.
• Three (3) years of experience working in the marketing space by supporting a marketing team or marketing initiatives.
• Three (3) years of development experience using Web Content Management Systems, specifically WordPress.
• Three (3) years of development skills using JavaScript, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Photoshop, Illustrator, etc; including basic web server configuration and PHP knowledge.
• Three (3) years of experience with photography, audio, video production and editing.
• Three (3) years of experience working with WordPress plugin development and theme development.
• Proven work experience using Adobe Acrobat and Adobe Creative Cloud.
• Proven work experience using clickstream capture tools and web analytic platforms (Google Analytics, etc).
• Previous experience with basic database maintenance including backup and restore.
• Valid and unrestricted driver’s license.
Preferred:
• Master’s degree in Web Designer, Digital Experience, Digital Technology, or related computer science field.
• Five (5) plus years of experience working in the marketing space by supporting a marketing team or marketing initiatives.
• Five (5) plus years of experience using Web Content Management Systems, specifically WordPress.
• Five (5) plus years of experience in any of the following skills: JavaScript, HTML, CSS, jQuery, Photoshop, or Illustrator; PHP is preferred along with advanced software development experience in a rapid environment.
• Five (5) plus years of digital experience in the web, social media, and emerging technologies.
• Five (5) plus years of experience working with WordPress plugin development and theme development.
• Five (5) plus years of experience with photography, audio, video production and editing.
• Advanced experience using Adobe Acrobat and Adobe Creative Cloud.
• Experience with advanced clickstream capture tools and web analytic platforms (Google Analytics, etc).
• Experience with database administration.
• Understanding of WCAG 2.2 and other accessibility standards and regulations related to user experience.

WORK ENVIRONMENT: The following is intended to give an overview of the work environment of the position but is not an exhaustive list.
• Office setting with traditional hours; weekend and evening hours may be required.
• Sitting for extended periods of time.
• Able to work at a rapid pace for long periods of time.
• Able to push, pull, pull up, bend at the knees and waist, twist body at the waist, raise and hold arms overhead, turn head-neck-shoulders as needed, grasp other items with hands, for either extended periods of time or many times throughout the workday.
• Able to work additional hours to the extent necessary.
• Ability to travel 10% of time if requested by Supervisor. Travel can increase for situational circumstances.
