The Loewenberg College of Nursing at the University of Memphis is seeking candidates for a non-tenure track Clinical Assistant/Associate Professor position. The Loewenberg College of Nursing (LCON) is committed to the preparation of nursing professionals who share a common goal of promoting health and achieving health equity in the global community. Both the baccalaureate and master's programs are accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE) and approved by the Tennessee Board of Nursing.
The Loewenberg College of Nursing offers a range of programs designed to support a diverse student population. These include the Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN), Accelerated BSN, and RN to BSN programs, as well as Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) concentrations in Adult Gerontology-Acute Care Nurse Practitioner, Family Nurse Practitioner, Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, Nursing Education, and Nursing Leadership. Additionally, we offer a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Nursing, dual-degree opportunities, top-ranked online courses and graduate certificate programs.
SALARY & BEGINNING DATE
Salary will be competitive and commensurate with qualifications. The University offers an excellent benefits package including healthcare and retirement. The position is a nine-month appointment with the possibility of summer teaching. The anticipated date of appointment is August 17, 2026.
