United WestLabs, Inc. (“UWL”) is a health care service company that implements and manages turn-key hospital-based, laboratory outreach Programs.  

Position Summary:

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented HR Specialist to support recruitment and employee relations across multiple outreach clinical laboratory sites. This role is pivotal in ensuring consistent hiring practices, fostering a positive work culture, and maintaining compliance with healthcare and laboratory regulations. The ideal candidate will be experienced in healthcare recruitment, employee engagement, and HR operations in a multi-site environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Recruitment:

  • Coordinate job postings for clinical and administrative roles across multiple lab locations.
  • Source, screen, and schedule interviews for candidates including phlebotomists, lab assistants, specimen processors, and support staff.
  • Maintain and update the applicant tracking system (ATS) with accurate candidate data and hiring progress.

 Onboarding & Compliance:

  • Facilitate pre-employment processes including background checks, credential verification, and onboarding documentation.
  • Track onboarding completion and coordinate with training teams for role-specific education.
  • Ensure new hire orientation is consistent across sites and compliant with internal policies.

 Employee Relations:

  • Serve as a point of contact for employee concerns, workplace issues, and policy interpretation.
  • Promote employee engagement through surveys, feedback sessions, and recognition programs.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential employee records and documentation.

 HR Operations & Reporting:

  • Prepare recruitment and employee relations reports for HR leadership and site managers.
  • Support HR initiatives such as policy updates, compliance audits, and organizational development projects.
  • Assist with internal communications and HR-related announcements across sites.

 Qualifications:

  • 2–4 years of experience in HR administration, recruitment, or employee relations, ideally in a healthcare or laboratory setting.
  • 2 or more years of experience using ADP
  • Familiarity with clinical laboratory roles and credentialing requirements
  • Knowledge of employment law and healthcare compliance.
  • Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities across locations and work independently.

 Preferred Skills:

  • Experience supporting multi-site operations and remote teams.
  • Ability to build relationships with diverse teams and foster a collaborative work environment.
  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, healthcare administration, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
