Primary Purpose

The Senior Business Intelligence Analyst is a key member of the Revenue Operations team, responsible for developing scalable analytics, data models, reporting solutions, and automated processes that improve sales performance, forecasting, pipeline visibility, and commercial decision-making.

 

Reporting directly to the Senior Director of Analysis & Insights, this role partners closely with Sales Leadership, Revenue Operations, Finance, Marketing, Business Intelligence, and IT to translate complex business needs into reliable analytical solutions and actionable insights. The role combines strong business acumen with hands-on technical expertise across SQL, Snowflake, dbt, Power BI, Salesforce, and workflow automation.

 

This is a highly visible, hands-on role requiring the ability to independently lead complex analytical initiatives, develop production-quality data solutions, identify business risks and opportunities, and communicate findings effectively to both technical and executive audiences.


Essential Functions

  • Build, develop, and maintain scalable data models supporting Sales Performance, Forecasting, Pipeline Management, Account and Book Health, New Business, and other Revenue Operations priorities.
  • Write, optimize, and maintain complex SQL transformations and dbt models to support reporting, analytics, and recurring business processes.
  • Design, develop, and enhance Power BI dashboards, semantic models, DAX measures, and executive-level reporting solutions.
  • Own analytical solutions from requirements gathering through development, validation, implementation, documentation, and ongoing support.
  • Develop and maintain Sales Effectiveness KPIs and performance frameworks related to revenue, pipeline, forecasting, targets, attainment, productivity, and account management.
  • Support sales forecasting, target setting, budgeting, pipeline analysis, and commercial planning through advanced data modeling and analysis.
  • Partner directly with Sales and Revenue Operations leaders to translate business questions into analytical approaches, insights, and actionable recommendations.
  • Design and maintain automated reporting and workflow solutions using tools such as Power Automate, Salesforce, and other available technologies.
  • Own data quality within assigned areas through reconciliation, validation, exception monitoring, root-cause analysis, and implementation of appropriate quality controls.
  • Partner with BI, Data Engineering, and IT teams on data architecture, governance, model design, performance optimization, and enterprise analytics standards.

SUPERVISORY RESPOSIBILITIES

The position does not have direct supervisory responsibilities. 


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Analytics, Finance, Economics, Information Systems, Data Science, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in Sales Analytics, Revenue Operations, Business Intelligence, Data Analytics, or a related analytical function.
  • Advanced SQL skills with demonstrated ability to work with complex queries, multiple tables, CTEs, window functions, transformations, and large datasets.
  • Experience with Snowflake or a comparable cloud data platform and strong knowledge of modern data modeling practices.
  • Experience developing and maintaining dbt models or working with a comparable data transformation framework.
  • Strong experience with Power BI, including data modeling, DAX, semantic models, dashboard development, and executive reporting.
  • Experience developing and maintaining automated workflows using Power Automate or a comparable workflow automation platform.
  • Experience working with Salesforce data and a strong understanding of CRM concepts including accounts, opportunities, pipeline, ownership, and sales activity.
  • Strong understanding of sales performance concepts including revenue, forecasting, pipeline, targets, attainment, productivity, account management, and new business.
  • Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills with the ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and translate complex analytical findings into clear business recommendations.

Salary Range

$89,500.00 – $134,200.00 / year

Pay Transparency Statement

At United Site Services, our salary ranges reflect the minimum and maximum base pay for the posted position applicable to all locations across the US. Within the posted salary range, individual pay is determined by the geographic location, job related skills, experience, education, and certifications. Our total compensation package includes base pay plus a comprehensive benefits program.
