About the Position...
The Sr. Loan Administration Associate is an experienced commercial lending professional responsible for managing complex loan administration activities throughout the commercial loan lifecycle, including documentation, due diligence, closing, funding, and post-closing requirements. This position independently reviews approved loan terms and transaction requirements, determines appropriate documentation and due diligence needs, identifies and resolves complex documentation or closing issues, and coordinates with internal and external partners to ensure transactions are completed accurately, timely, and in accordance with Bank policies and regulatory requirements. The Sr. Loan Administration Associate exercises independent judgment in managing assigned transactions, evaluating documentation and funding requirements, resolving exceptions and discrepancies, prioritizing workflow, and determining when material risks or issues require escalation. This position also serves as a senior resource to lending and operational partners on commercial loan documentation, closing, and administration matters.

Education & Certification(s) Required
Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or a related field preferred.
Equivalent combination of education, relevant banking experience, and specialized commercial lending or loan documentation training may be considered.
Commercial lending, loan documentation, or related banking training strongly preferred.
Required Knowledge
Demonstrated experience independently managing commercial real estate and commercial lending transactions through documentation, closing, funding, and post-closing.
Experience interpreting credit approvals, loan terms, documentation requirements, and complex commercial loan structures.
Experience coordinating and reviewing commercial loan due diligence, including title, escrow, insurance, appraisals, environmental reports, flood requirements, UCC filings, and other collateral documentation.
Experience identifying and resolving complex loan documentation, closing, funding, and servicing issues.
Experience working directly with Relationship Managers, Portfolio Managers, Underwriters, borrowers, attorneys, title companies, escrow officers, and other lending partners.
Experience with loan origination systems, document imaging systems, and banking platforms preferred.
Experience Required
Five (5) or more years of progressively responsible experience in commercial loan administration, commercial lending, loan documentation, loan operations, or related financial services.
Skills/Abilities
Strong knowledge of commercial loan administration, documentation, closing, funding, servicing, and collateral requirements.
Ability to independently interpret credit approvals, loan terms, documentation requirements, Bank policies, and established lending procedures.
Demonstrated ability to exercise sound judgment and discretion when evaluating documentation, exceptions, closing conditions, funding requirements, and operational risks.
Ability to identify complex documentation or transaction issues, evaluate available information, and determine appropriate resolution or escalation.
Strong organizational and workflow management skills with the ability to independently manage multiple complex transactions, priorities, and deadlines.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to accurate and complete loan documentation.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to provide guidance and technical expertise to lending personnel and internal business partners.
Ability to collaborate effectively with clients, lending personnel, credit teams, operational departments, attorneys, title and escrow professionals, and third-party vendors.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and appropriately handle sensitive financial and personal information.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and the ability to learn and effectively utilize Bank systems and lending platforms.
Compensation
Hiring Salary Range: $80,000 to $100,000.
This compensation information is United Business Bank's good-faith estimate and is provided pursuant to Colorado's Equal Pay for Equal Work Act. Actual compensation offer to candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level. The base pay and target incentive (if applicable) will be finalized at offer.
