Position Summary:

The HR Generalist serves as a primary point of contact for employees, providing day-to-day HR support and guidance. This role assists employees with benefits, leaves of absence, HR policies and procedures, and general employment-related questions while helping ensure a positive and responsive employee experience.

Key Responsibilities & Role Highlights:   

  • Serve as the first contact for employees regarding benefits, policies, and HR processes.

  • Administer benefits including new hire enrollments, life event changes, and open enrollment.

  • Coordinate FMLA, ADA, and other types of leave; ensure compliance and timely communication.

  • Support tuition reimbursement, HSA contributions, and other employee programs.

  • Maintain accurate and confidential employee records in alignment with HR policies and legal requirements.

  • Assist with HR policy development, implementation, and interpretation.

  • Support employee engagement and wellness initiatives.

Education & Experience Requirements:  

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (preferred).

  • Minimum of 2 years HR experience required.

  • Knowledge of employment law, benefits regulations, and HR best practices.

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

  • Highly organized with attention to detail and confidentiality.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with HRIS systems (UKG a plus).
