DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Research federal/state laws and agency guidelines to understand compliance requirements
Collaborate with subject matter experts to document business processes
Identify risks and assess the effectiveness of internal controls
Design and execute audit testing procedures
Communicate findings and work with business units to resolve issues
Draft clear, concise audit reports
Follow up on corrective actions to ensure successful implementation

QualificationsEDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
Minimum 2 years of internal audit experience
Mortgage operations experience preferred

SKILLS REQUIRED

Strong interviewing and analytical skills
Critical thinking and attention to detail
Excellent organizational and communication abilities
Ability to write clearly and concisely
