Overview

Position Overview

At Unified Door & Hardware Group (UDHG), the Production Associate is responsible for performing quality checks, meeting production deadlines, and delivering excellent customer service. This role supports the daily production workflow by ensuring accuracy, safety, and efficiency throughout all assigned tasks.

Responsibilities and Qualifications

Key Responsibilities

  • Production & Quality Control    
    • Inspect parts before and after production to ensure compliance with quality standards
    • Record and report issues related to product defects, equipment performance, or workflow concerns
    • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized production area

     

  • Safety & Equipment Operation      
    • Follow all established safety procedures when operating machinery and equipment
    • Safely load and unload parts and materials as required
    • Adhere to company and Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) safety standards at all times

     

  • Workflow Support
    • Meet production deadlines with efficiency, accuracy, and attention to detail
    • Assist team members and support production workflow as needed
    • Utilize basic computer skills for inventory tracking, labeling, and reporting

     

  • Miscellaneous
    • Support our values in the stand areas of Safety, Customer Focus, Teamwork, Integrity and being a Company of Choice for both employees and customers
    • Other duties as assigned

     

    Qualifications

    • Strong attention to detail with the ability to accurately track and record inventory
    • Effective organizational and time management skills
    • Knowledge of standard safety procedures and a commitment to following them
    • Basic computer proficiency for inventory and labeling tasks
    • Strong verbal communication skills
    • Ability to stand for extended periods of time
    • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
    • Demonstrated ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team

    The listed pay range reflects the expected base rate for this position; actual compensation may vary based on factors such as experience, qualifications, and cost of living in the assigned market. This is a full-time position with competitive pay and benefits.

    • Base: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour 
    • Job Type: Full-Time
