We are proud of our mission of Creating Life Without Limits for People With Disabilities, and we're looking for a compassionate and creative Recreation Therapist to help us continue that work.
What You'll Do
✅ Design and lead engaging recreational activities and community outings
✅ Promote health, wellness, socialization, and community inclusion
✅ Develop individualized recreation goals and treatment plans
✅ Monitor progress and maintain documentation in compliance with regulations
✅ Collaborate with residential staff and interdisciplinary teams
✅ Train and support staff in implementing recreation programs
✅ Help create enriching experiences that make a lasting impact
What We're Looking For
Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university
Valid NYS Driver's License and at least 1-year licensed driving experience
Strong organizational, communication, and teamwork skills
Passion for serving individuals with developmental and intellectual disabilities
