Part-Time Independent Contractor | 2-5 Hours Per Week | Flexible Schedule

We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Occupational Therapist to join our residential services team.

Make a Meaningful Impact

As an Occupational Therapist, you'll help individuals with developmental and physical disabilities improve their daily functioning, independence, and quality of life through personalized therapeutic interventions and support.

What You'll Do

✅ Evaluate and provide occupational therapy services to individuals in residential programs

✅ Develop and implement treatment plans focused on:

Sensorimotor rehabilitation
Activities of Daily Living (ADL) training
Fine motor development
Range of motion and therapeutic exercises

✅ Assess fine motor, perceptual motor, and sensorimotor functioning

✅ Establish and monitor therapeutic goals and progress

✅ Collaborate with individuals, families, advocates, and interdisciplinary team members

✅ Maintain accurate clinical documentation and treatment records

✅ Consult on adaptive equipment and assistive technology needs

✅ Supervise OT Assistants, students, and volunteers as needed

Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's Degree from an AOTA-accredited Occupational Therapy program
Current New York State Occupational Therapy License
1-3 years of related experience preferred
Strong communication, clinical, and organizational skills
Passion for helping individuals achieve greater independence and success
