Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapy Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will assist physical therapists in providing high-quality care to patients recovering from injuries, surgeries, or chronic conditions. This role requires strong communication skills, a commitment to patient care, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist physical therapists in implementing treatment plans for patients.
• Help patients with exercises and therapeutic activities to improve mobility and strength.
• Monitor patient progress and report any changes to the supervising therapist.
• Maintain a clean and organized treatment area and ensure all equipment is sanitized and in good working condition.
• Educate patients and their families on exercises and home care techniques.
• Document patient progress and treatment sessions accurately in compliance with healthcare regulations.

Requirements

Skills and Qualifications:

• Associate degree in Physical Therapy Assisting or a related field.
• Current state licensure or certification as a Physical Therapy Assistant.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
• Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care.
• Basic knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and therapeutic techniques.
