Requirements
Role Overview
The Supplier Development Representative is responsible for managing and growing relationships with equipment suppliers across national, regional, and local markets. This role plays a critical part in sourcing competitive pricing, supporting quoting efforts, and ensuring strong supplier coverage for customer needs.
Key Responsibilities

Own and manage quoting requests for construction equipment across multiple markets

Develop, build, and maintain strong supplier relationships

Negotiate competitive pricing with national, regional, and local equipment providers

Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely and accurate fulfillment of customer requests

Identify gaps in supplier coverage and onboard new vendors as needed

Maintain a strong understanding of market trends, pricing, and equipment availability
Ideal Candidate Profile

1–3 years of experience in the construction equipment or equipment rental industry preferred (not required)

Experience working with complex or national accounts is a plus

Strong consultative negotiation skills

Solid understanding of equipment markets, pricing structures, and supplier networks

Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple requests simultaneously

Strong communication and relationship-building skills
