Description
Maintenance/Day Porters Responsibilities:
- 1. Change light bulbs and ballast, as needed
- 2. Electrical troubleshooting (outlets, lighting, breakers)
- 3. Basic plumbing troubleshooting (leaks, clogs, toilet repair, water shutoff).
- 4. Painting, patching, and drywall repair
- 5. Preventive maintenance routines
This is a union position, eligible for benefits after 1 year.
Requirements
- 1. Able to use maintenance equipment and tools used in the operation of the property
operation (ladders, power tools).
- 2. Able to use cleaning equipment (pressure washer, blower, scrubber, vacuum).
- 3. Minor carpentry and woodworking.
- 4. Groundskeeping basics (parking bumper replacement, minor landscaping).
- 5. Soft Skills: Reliable, strong work ethic, professional appearance, friendly demeanor,
safety awareness, attention to detail
