Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Technical Training Specialist – Electrical to support the development of technical capabilities and competency across electrical and engineering teams. The role will focus on identifying technical training needs, developing relevant learning programs, and coordinating initiatives that strengthen workforce capability and technical performance.
Key Responsibilities
Assess technical and electrical competency gaps and identify training needs across engineering and operational teams.
Develop and implement technical training plans and programs aligned with business and project requirements.
Coordinate and deliver electrical and technical training sessions, workshops, and competency-development initiatives.
Develop training materials, technical learning content, and competency frameworks.
Work closely with engineering, technical, and project teams to ensure training programs address practical requirements.
Coordinate with external training providers, technical specialists, and subject-matter experts where required.
Monitor and evaluate training effectiveness, competency development, and learning outcomes.
Maintain appropriate training records, competency assessments, and development plans.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Mechatronics, or a related engineering discipline.
Minimum 6 years of relevant experience in technical training, Learning & Development, or competency development.
Previous experience supporting electrical, engineering, construction, infrastructure, energy, or industrial environments is preferred.
Strong understanding of technical/electrical training and competency requirements.
Experience developing technical training programs, materials, and competency assessments.
Strong communication, stakeholder management, coordination, and training-development skills.
