Job Summary
Gizmo's Flea Market is looking for friendly, reliable, and customer-focused Cashiers to join our team. As a Cashier, you will be one of the first people our customers and vendors interact with, helping create a positive shopping experience for everyone who walks through our doors.
In this role, you will assist customers with purchases, answer questions, process transactions, and help maintain a clean and welcoming store environment. We are looking for team members who enjoy working with people, have a positive attitude, and can thrive in a fast-paced retail setting.

Responsibilities
- Greet customers and provide excellent customer service
- Process cash, credit card, and other payment transactions accurately
- Answer customer questions and assist with locating products
- Help vendors and customers with general inquiries
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional checkout area
- Balance cash drawer and ensure transaction accuracy
- Assist with store opening and closing procedures as needed
- Support other team members and management with daily operations
- Follow company policies and procedures
Qualifications
- Previous cashier, retail, or customer service experience preferred, but not required
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Basic math and cash-handling abilities
- Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds occasionally
Compensation: $12.00 per hour
