We’re looking for an Implementation Specialist to join our team and be part of our next stage of growth. As an Implementation Specialist, your top priority is to understand business requirements and processes, leading the customers and other project team members to the optimal solution. This role is required to demo existing product functionality, configure the product, build custom solutions, lead training sessions, and manage deployments through the implementation cycle. Additionally, you will be leveraging AI tools and agents (including Claude) to enhance and accelerate discovery, documentation, and configuration work throughout the implementation lifecycle.

Skills

Traction Rec’rs come from a variety of backgrounds, and we are eager to find people that are from diverse traditional backgrounds. For this role, you might have:

  • Degree/diploma in Business, Information Systems or equivalent experience
  • 2+ years technology, consulting and/or internal technology management experience
  • Experience in Salesforce configuration and integrated 3rd party products
  • Technical or process design acumen to translate business requirements and pain points into functional designs
  • Effective independent time management and prioritization specifically because of a fast paced, remote working environment
  • Ability to facilitate discovery workshops, manage stakeholder expectations, and communicate confidently with both end users and executive sponsors, translating technical trade-offs into business language
  • Experience using AI assistants (e.g., Claude, ChatGPT, Copilot) to accelerate requirements gathering, documentation, or solution design
  • Familiarity with Salesforce Agentforce or comparable agentic AI tools, and interest in applying them to client solutions
  • Ability to responsibly integrate AI tools into a delivery workflow, knowing when to rely on them and when human judgment is required
  • What will make you stand out:
    • Billing, Finance, Accounting, and Payments experience
    • Genuine interest or experience in how AI and agentic tools are reshaping implementation and delivery work, with ideas about where & how they can be applied next.
  • Bonus points if you’ve worked with nonprofit community centers or parks and recreation organizations

What You Will Be Doing

  • Understanding existing Traction Rec / Integrated Partner product capabilities and limitations with the goal of helping the client navigate to the best use of the out of the box offerings
  • Navigating business requirements and proposing functional designs with the goal of maximizing the use of native / declarative Salesforce solutions
  • Keep the end-user experience, the member, participant, or family interacting with the system, front of mind when developing and proposing configurations.
  • Make business process improvement recommendations in collaboration with other project team members
  • Leading best practices for designing, developing, testing, and deploying new functionality
  • Setting up and guiding customers through environment management and deployment best practices
  • Prepare customers for life after go-live, building admin documentation and leading train-the-trainer sessions so client teams can confidently manage their own solution
  • Use AI tools and agents to accelerate requirement documentation, solution design artifacts, and client-facing deliverables
  • Evaluate opportunities to apply Agentforce or other AI/agent capabilities within client Salesforce orgs as part of solution
  • Analyzing, transforming, and loading data
  • Navigating and configuring Salesforce’s Security Model
  • Recommending and building Reports and Dashboards
  • Collaborating with the Customer Support team to assist clients after go lives
  • Travel to clients (Must be able to travel in Canada and US, without restriction)

Compensation

At Traction Rec, we are committed to a fair, market-based and equitable compensation structure. Our market data is refreshed on an annual basis to reflect the most current market conditions.

The starting salary band for this role is $80,000-$90,000. Starting salaries will vary within this range based on experience, skill level, and internal equity related to the role.
