About this role
The Print Production Operator supports Ink Operations by operating, assisting with, and completing production, fulfillment, equipment, quality, inventory, and workflow tasks. This role is expected to be flexible and may work across multiple production functions based on business needs, volume, staffing, training, and equipment requirements.
2nd Shift: 2:00 PM – 10:30 PM
Key Responsibilities
- Operate, support, or assist with current and future production equipment and workflows, including presses, inserters, postage meters, shrink wrappers, cutters, slitters, finishing equipment, fulfillment equipment, and material-handling equipment.
- Complete assigned work accurately, safely, and in priority order.
- Read and follow job instructions, work orders, production standards, checklists, and quality requirements.
- Monitor work for accuracy, quality, completeness, and proper handling.
- Move materials, supplies, work-in-process, and finished products through the operation as needed.
- Support equipment setup, basic troubleshooting, cleaning, restocking, and routine operator-level maintenance.
- Perform fulfillment, inventory movement, quality control, and other production tasks as assigned.
- Report equipment issues, quality concerns, supply needs, safety risks, and workflow delays.
- Maintain clean, organized, safe, and efficient work areas.
- Support other Ink Operations functions as business needs require.
- Perform other duties as assigned by Ink Operations leadership.
- May be required to operate a company vehicle for pickup and delivery needs, which requires a valid Texas driver's license and clean driving record.
Qualifications
- Experience in operations, production, fulfillment, logistics, manufacturing, equipment operation, or a related field preferred.
- Ability to follow instructions, work safely, meet deadlines, maintain quality standards, and adapt to changing priorities.
- Strong attention to detail, reliability, teamwork, and willingness to learn.
- Comfortable working in a hands-on environment involving production equipment, fulfillment, packaging, supplies, and shipping materials.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift or move materials/equipment as needed, with reasonable accommodations available.
- Flexibility to work shifts or schedules outside normal business hours based on operational needs.
