About this role
We are looking for a Pre-Litigation Plaintiff Personal Injury Attorney with 5+ years of experience to take ownership of personal injury cases from intake through settlement at a fast-growing national PI firm. You'll be joining a team that has grown from ~20 people to nearly 100, with a strong culture of internal advancement and meaningful client advocacy.
What will you be doing?
Managing a full caseload of personal injury cases (car accidents, slip and falls, etc.) on the plaintiff side from intake through settlement
Conducting strategic case investigations, analyzing medical records, and developing case strategy to maximize value
Negotiating with insurance carriers and opposing counsel on behalf of clients
Providing compassionate, bilingual (English/Spanish preferred) client communication and setting expectations throughout the legal process
Collaborating closely with legal assistants, case managers, and lien negotiators to drive cases forward
Key Requirements
5+ years of plaintiff-side personal injury experience (no defense-side)
Active attorney in good standing, barred in Illinois
Stable work history — no short stints of a few months; reasonable tenure at each role expected
Bilingual in English and Spanish strongly preferred (Chicago clientele is bilingual)
Comfortable working in-office 5 days a week in Chicago, IL
