Mainline Technician Job Responsibilities

Perform diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs on Hyundai vehicles

Identify mechanical, electrical, and drivability concerns using diagnostic equipment

Complete repairs according to manufacturer specifications and dealership standards

Perform warranty repairs and maintenance services accurately and efficiently

Inspect vehicles and recommend necessary repairs or maintenance

Document repair procedures and findings clearly on repair orders

Maintain productivity and efficiency goals while ensuring quality workmanship

Keep work areas clean, organized, and safe

Participate in Hyundai factory training and certification programs

Work collaboratively with service advisors and team members to ensure a positive customer experience

QualificationsMainline Technician Qualifications

Previous automotive technician experience required

Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills

Ability to perform repairs independently with minimal supervision

Knowledge of automotive electrical, engine, suspension, brake, and drivetrain systems

Ability to use scan tools, diagnostic equipment, and service information systems

Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality repairs

Preferred Qualifications

Hyundai experience preferred

ASE certifications preferred

Hyundai factory certifications a plus

Dealership experience preferred

Corporate requirements: Must be 18 years or older with a valid driver's license and clean driving record, able to pass a criminal background check, and a pre-employment drug screen.
