Tomlinson Environmental Services is looking for a detailed oriented Cleaner to perform cleaning services on portable washroom units and trailers. Tomlinson owns several types of washroom units for special events and construction sites. This job requires attention to detail, pride of work, great customer service along with organizational and time management skills.  Must be able to work in varied customer work environments.

This position works weekdays, 7:00am to 5:00pm. This position pays an incentive rate per unit cleaned.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: 

• Complete inside cleaning of various units
• Remove and dispose of debris
• Re-stock low or missing supplies
• Report any broken or deficiencies with the units to Dispatch
• Ability to work outside in varying weather/driving conditions and on construction sites
• Meet daily cleaning objectives as directed by the Supervisor
• Efficiently and safely completing all stops on route
• Maintain daily records (route sheets or tablet)

REQUIREMENTS:

• Valid driver’s license class “G”
• Must provide own vehicle
• Must have a strong constitution to deal with unpleasant odors and messes
• Familiarity with city of Ottawa and outlying areas
• Ability to maintain the highest level of customer service in all aspects of the job
• Physical aspect to the job - traverse uneven terrain; kneeling, bending and stretching required in the cleaning regime.
