\nWhat You'll Do
We are seeking versatile Teaching Artists and Enrichment Providers who are Intermediate - Advanced in Spanish to lead engaging, hands-on classes.
 
In this engaging "Spanish club", students will learn to speak and understand Spanish through games, crafts, songs, and interactive activities that make language learning fun and memorable. Lessons are to be structured to build a strong foundation of vocabulary and phrases that students can use right away. 
Some classes offer opportunities for learning about Spanish/Latino culture as well as language.
 
Led in an immersive, supportive environment, this class helps students gain confidence in speaking while also learning about the culture connected to the language. Whether new to Spanish or already familiar with it, students will enjoy a lively introduction that blends creativity with communication skills.

Who You Are
  • Confident and proficient leading your own Spanish class through arts & crafts, songs, and other engaging ways to learn language and culture.

  • Energetic, creative, and skilled at engaging young learners

  • Reliable, professional, and enthusiastic about working with students

  • Able to create positive class community and build relationships with students

  • Flexible and able to adapt teaching methods to meet individual student needs

  • Passionate about arts, creativity and connection

  • Has a strong work ethic and do whatever it takes mind set

$80 - $100 an hour
Teachers in the Togetherhood network are paid per class, either flat rate or per-student (determined by the partner school). This is contracted, supplemental 1099 work. There is a separate materials budget for teachers to use for classes requiring one.
