About the Role
We are seeking a Data Analyst that will transform data into actionable insights and support informed decision-making across all levels of RNGD. This role is ideal for a highly motivated and detail-oriented professional and is responsible for developing Power BI reports, exploring and implementing data-management solutions that leverage artificial intelligence and machine learning, automating processes using Microsoft Power Platform, and writing SQL queries to retrieve data from RNGD’s Snowflake database.
Core Responsibilities
- Power BI Reporting and Analytics

- Design, build, maintain, and continuously improve Power BI reports and semantic models.
- Create user-friendly dashboards with strong visual design, clear business context, consistent formatting standards, and high attention to usability and performance.
- Write and troubleshoot DAX measures, calculated columns, Power Query transformations, and report logic to ensure accurate, reliable, and actionable insights.
- Data Modeling, SQL, and Data Warehousing

- Develop SQL queries to support reporting, analysis, and data-quality needs.
- Partner with data engineering and business teams to improve data models, troubleshoot refresh failures, resolve source-system issues, and strengthen reporting reliability.
- Data Governance, Security, and Access Control

- Support data-governance practices that improve the quality, consistency, usability, and reliability of organizational data.
- Configure and maintain approved row-level security and support report access controls and sensitivity labeling in coordination with system and data owners.
- Document report logic, calculations, data definitions, source information, security logic, access requirements, data classifications, and user guidance.
- Identify missing, inconsistent, duplicate, or unreliable data and coordinate appropriate review and correction.
- Maintain organized documentation for reports, semantic models, queries, automated workflows, and recurring analytical processes while following established data-access, confidentiality, security, and governance requirements.
- Process Automation and Business Systems Support

- Build, test, maintain, and support workflow automations using Microsoft Power Platform, SharePoint, and related tools.
- Identify opportunities to reduce manual effort, improve workflow consistency, and strengthen the reliability of recurring business processes.
- Troubleshoot automation failures and coordinate resolution with system owners or technical partners when needed.
- Identify opportunities to apply artificial intelligence-enabled analytics and automation capabilities where they provide practical business value.
- Document automated processes, dependencies, ownership, user requirements, and support procedures.
- Stakeholder Partnership, Adoption, and Continuous Improvement

- Partner with stakeholders across business functions to understand operational needs and translate them into practical analytics and automation solutions.
- Communicate findings, report logic, assumptions, data limitations, and recommendations clearly to technical and non-technical audiences.
- Develop user guides, reference materials, and other resources that help employees understand and use analytics products effectively.
- Lead training and provide ongoing support to strengthen user adoption and confidence.
- Manage multiple requests, priorities, dependencies, and timelines while communicating progress and challenges appropriately.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, data science, business, or a related discipline preferred.
- Three or more years of proven experience as a Data Analyst, with a focus on Power BI and SQL.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with close attention to detail.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Power Platform.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate complex technical concepts for non-technical audiences.
- Experience with cloud computing platforms, including Snowflake and Microsoft Azure.
- Familiarity with enterprise resource planning and customer relationship management systems.
- Previous experience in construction or a related industry preferred.
