The Supply Planning Lead is responsible for leading the monthly Supply Review process and Contract Manufacturing Organization (CMO) SIOP meetings that support the Therakos Sales, Inventory, and Operations Planning (SIOP) process. The position serves as the primary liaison between Manufacturing Operations, Procurement, Quality, Contract Manufacturers, Distribution, Transportation, Finance and Demand Planning functions to ensure supply plans align with business requirements. The role is accountable for supply planning, inventory management, capacity planning, production planning, supply risk management, and executive reporting that supports informed business decisions.

- Strong communication and organizational skills to lead monthly Supply Review and CMO SIOP meetings and ensure all supply assumptions, constraints, risks, opportunities, and decisions are documented and communicated to stakeholders.
- Develop and maintain rolling supply plans that support demand requirements, inventory targets, service level objectives, and operational capabilities.
- Analyze inventory levels, production plans, supplier performance, manufacturing capacity, and supply risks to ensure uninterrupted product availability.
- Collaborate with Manufacturing Operations, Procurement, Quality, Finance, Customer Care, Transportation, Distribution, Demand Planning, and external stakeholders to achieve alignment on supply plans and operational priorities.
- Prepare executive-ready analysis, scenarios, and recommendations for Therakos leadership.
- Ensure all supply planning processes, assumptions, templates, and supporting documentation remain standardized, auditable, and compliant with established SIOP governance requirements.
- Support implementation and optimization of planning systems, reporting tools, and data governance processes that improve planning effectiveness and inventory visibility.
- Minimum of five years of experience in supply planning, production planning, inventory management, SIOP, S&OP, Integrated Business Planning, or related disciplines.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Power BI required.
- Experience working in regulated medical devices, pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or healthcare manufacturing environments is preferred.
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field. MBA preferred.
- Certification in supply chain management (e.g., APICS CPIM, CSCP) preferred.
- Demand Planning:
- Lead the monthly Supply Review process as part of the Therakos SIOP framework, ensuring all supply assumptions, constraints, risks, opportunities, and decisions are reviewed, documented and communicated to stakeholders.
- Facilitate Supply Review meetings with Manufacturing Operations, Quality, Regulatory, Finance and Contract Manufacturing partners.
- Develop and maintain constrained and unconstrained supply plans across product families, SKUs, and distribution networks to support business objectives and service level requirements.
- Manage supply assumptions related to production capacity, supplier lead times, inventory availability, regulatory requirements, and operational risks.
- Lead monthly CMO SIOP meetings to align production plans, inventory levels, capacity requirements, risks and escalation items with contract manufacturing partners.
- Supply Planning, Capacity, & Inventory Management:
- Develop and maintain rolling production and replenishment plans that support demand requirements while optimizing inventory investment and service performance.
- Monitor inventory health across kits, instruments, drugs, spare parts, raw materials and API throughout the global supply network.
- Analyze inventory performance, excess and obsolete inventory risk, safety stock requirements, and inventory policies to support working capital objectives.
- Evaluate manufacturing and supplier capacity to identify constraints and develop mitigation plans that protect customer service and business continuity.
- Develop scenario plans and sensitivity analyses to assess potential impacts of supply distribution, capacity constraints, inventory shortages, and demand variability.
- Inventory Management:
- Ensure inventory practices comply with regulatory, quality, and internal control requirements.
- Data Management & Reporting:
- Prepare executive-ready dashboards, reports, presentations, and recommendations that communicate forecast performance.
- Maintain supply planning data integrity by ensuring inventory parameters, lead times, planning settings, bills of material, and master data are accurate and aligned across planning systems.
- Conduct detailed analysis of inventory trends, supplier performance, manufacturing performance, capacity utilization, plan adherence and operational metrics.
- Ensure all supply planning processes, reports, and supporting documentation are auditable and compliant with established SIOP governance standards.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Partner closely with Manufacturing, Procurement, Quality, Regulatory, Finance and Contract Manufacturing partners to align supply plans with operational capabilities and business requirements.
- Communicate supply constraints, inventory risks, capacity limitations, and mitigation plans to stakeholders in a timely manner.
- Support Executive SIOP meetings by providing supply planning insights, inventory analysis, scenario evaluations, and recommendations.
- Serve as the primary business contact for supply-related inquiries, ensuring transparency and alignment across functional teams and stakeholders.
- Process Improvement & Systems Optimization:
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives focused on enhancing planning methodologies, inventory management processes, reporting capabilities, and supply planning effectiveness.
- Support the implementation, optimization, and utilization of planning systems, ERP tools, and reporting platforms to improve planning efficiency, and organizational visibility.
- Establish and maintain standardized supply planning processes, templates, and governance controls that promote consistency and scalability.
