About this role

Therakos is looking for an experienced Global Product Manager to help shape the future of its medical device and data solutions portfolio. . In this high-impact role, the Product Manager will lead lifecycle strategy for the current automated device platform, support next-generation development and commercialization, and drive a data analytics roadmap that gives clinicians, hospital administrators, and internal stakeholders meaningful visibility into treatment activity, device utilization, and outcomes. This is an ideal opportunity for a product leader who brings together medical device expertise, digital health strategy, and strong cross-functional leadership. Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, such as Life Sciences, Computer Science, or a related discipline; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
  • 5+ years of global product management experience, ideally with exposure to both medical device or hardware products and software, IT, or data analytics solutions.
  • Experience in medical devices, diagnostics, healthcare technology, or other regulated healthcare environments.
  • Working knowledge of healthcare data standards and compliance requirements, such as HIPAA, GDPR, HL7/FHIR, IEC 62304, or similar frameworks.
  • Demonstrated experience supporting the global launch of a new product or platform in a regulated medical device environment.
  • Strong cross-functional leadership skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively across R&D, Regulatory, Clinical Affairs, and Commercial teams.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present complex information clearly to executive stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical mindset and a data-driven approach to evaluating user feedback, market insights, and analytics reports.
  • Ability to travel for customer visits, conferences, and cross-site collaboration.
 
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with apheresis, transfusion medicine, pharma device, , or transplant/oncology therapeutic areas.
  • Familiarity with agile/scrum software development methodologies.
  • Multilingual or international commercial experience is a plus.
Current and Future Automated Platforms
  • Lead the product roadmap and lifecycle strategy for the current automated device install base including voice of customer work, market assessment and launch strategies
  • Support longer-term SIOP demand planning for device and consumables via market and customer insights
  • Translate market trends, customer insights, and unmet needs into actionable strategies that support portfolio growth.
  • Develop and manage relationships with key opinion leaders and strategic vendors, including scope, timelines, and deliverables.
  • Partner with R&D, Regulatory, Clinical, Medical, Business Operations and Commercial teams to define product requirements and prioritize the next-generation portfolio roadmap.
  • Convert voice-of-customer input from physicians, apheresis nurses, hospital procurement and IT teams, and internal stakeholders into clear, actionable user needs.
 
Data Analytics Software
  • Lead the roadmap for a digital solution  offering that captures treatment, device, and outcomes data across the global install base.
  • Define requirements for data architecture, system integrations, interoperability standards, cybersecurity, and data privacy compliance, including HIPAA, GDPR and equivalent international frameworks.
  • Collaborate with IT, software engineering, and QA/RA teams to ensure the platform aligns with applicable medical device software standards.
  • Shape dashboards, reporting tools, and analytics capabilities that create meaningful value for both clinical customers and internal business partners.
  • Identify and collaborate with external partners for connectivity across LIS or HIS systems.
 
Cross-Functional and Commercial
  • Serve as the internal product expert and voice-of-customer champion across R&D, Commercial, Business Operations, and Medical teams.
  • Support market and ROI analysis through market and disease-state assessments.
  • Support pricing, packaging, and go-to-market strategy to help ensure successful launch readiness and market adoption.
  • Track and communicate product performance metrics, adoption trends, and post-launch customer feedback to inform ongoing portfolio decisions.
