Responsibilities
Complete Building Services is hiring Fire Control Center Engineers for a large facility in NW Washington. The Fire Control Engineer is responsible for continuously monitoring a building's fire-life safety systems and coordinating emergency responses and maintenance activities. The Fire Panels are monitored 24/7, including weekends and holidays.
- Fire Control Center Engineer will be responsible to alert the Engineering Team immediately upon recognition of a problem
- They will work in conjunction with the Fire and Life Safety subcontractor, Generator subcontractor, and Elevator Mechanics during inspections, testing, and maintenance of any systems or related equipment
- Supports inspections, testing, and maintenance of fire suppression, detection, and life-safety systems
Shifts: 6am-2pm (Monday - Friday)
Salary: $52.66 per Hour
Qualifications
What we are looking for:
- 3 years of experience in building operations, fire systems, or related engineering roles
- 3+ years experience in like size facility (3 million sq. ft. plus)
- Must possess a DC 3rd class license
- Familiarity with fire alarm systems, life-safety codes, and building operations
- Strong communication and situational awareness
- OSHA Safety training
- Must pass a background check
- Must be eligible to work in the United States
