Enterprise Architect (EARCH) (Warsaw, 60% remote) – Frontex

Profile: Enterprise Architect (EARCH) in support of Frontex PROM Architecture Team. Level Advanced.

Place of performance: Frontex Headquarters – 40% on-site, 60 % remote.

Duration of the mission: 48 months.

Security Clearance: Is required (required from day 45 of assignment) - RESTREINT UE/EU RESTRICTED.

Minimum level of education: Level 7.

Minimum English language skills: C1.

Minimum IT relevant experience: 8 years (5 years in relevant roles).

Award Criteria: 35% Price / 65% Quality.

Minimum required scoring for interview: 60%.

Rate: Flexible. The rate offered depends on the candidate’s level, in accordance with the European public grading system. Further details are available upon discussion.

· NWH: 220 days x 4 years.

Required technical certificates:

At least 1 certification is required among:

· [1] The Open Group Certified Architect (Open CA).

· [2] Zachman Certified – Enterprise Architect.

· [3] CISSP Information Systems Security Architecture Professional (CISSIP-ISSAP).

· [4] ITIL v3 Master certification or equivalent.

· [5] Certification of Capability in Business Analysis™ (CCBA).

· Or for any listed above, an equivalent alternative certification recognized internationally (subject to acceptance as a valid credential by the Contracting Authority).

Knowledge and Skills

Knowledge:

· [01] Has performed role of Enterprise architect in organization.

· [02] Has hands-on experience in building EA culture and practices throughout the organization.

· [03] Expert in enterprise and business architecture design.

· [04] Familiar with business process development, value streams and capability maps design.

· [05] Good knowledge of enterprise architecture domains.

· [06] Good knowledge about maturity models analyses and frameworks.

· [07] Is proficient in using systems modelling tools like Sparx Enterprise Architect, Aris Architect or others.

· [08] Familiar with market wide designing architecture standards or frameworks such as, TOGAF, Zachman, Azure Well-Architected framework or similar.

· [09] Expert knowledge in computer science and IT to research IT solutions and identify ways to enhance existing operations.

Skills:

· [10] Efficiency in time management, project management and demonstrative of the company’s service-oriented architecture (SOA).

· [11] Holds ability to document effectively.

· [12] Presents problem solving skills.

· [13] Strong capacity in writing and presenting studies, business cases, visions, analytical models.

· [14] Presents leadership skills.

· [15] Capability of working in an international/ multicultural environment.

· [16] Skills in developing standards and policies that guide the use of IT assets.

· [17] Excellent communication skills for educating employees on best practices for applying the company’s IT products, resources and solutions.

· [18] Ability to scrutinize the domains of the enterprise’s structure to improve operations and align the business and technology to be transparent.

· [19] Ability to analyze data and information generated by the enterprise and operational labour structure to identify cost-savings opportunities.

Specific requirements

· [01] Experience in the governance of architecture function.

Typical tasks and responsibilities

· Establishes processes for enterprise architecture developments and management.

· Supports programmes and projects in planning and controlling (especially regarding risk management), harmonizing, change management and assures architectural compliancy.

· Consult and contributes to development of architectural capabilities of the organization and the architecture management initiatives.

· Designs and communicates enterprise architecture.

· Designs and maintains architectural repository.

· Design interoperability and interfaces between systems.

· Elicits needs, analyses requirements.

· Transfers business, users and technical needs into architectures.

· Maps business goals, project benefits, priorities, components, system features.

· Defines transition roadmaps for architectures.

· Prepares system documentation and provides presentations.

· Collects and interprets system metrics.

· Provides as Assistance to projects which implement the elements of enterprise architecture.

· Assesses architecture maturity.

· Analyzes organizational structures.

· Analyzes information systems portfolio.

· Analyzes business processes.

· Conducts IS costs/benefits analysis.
