About the Role as an R&D Engineer at Talent 360, you will be responsible for researching emerging technologies, designing and building proof-of-concept solutions, and turning innovative ideas into features that strengthen our product offerings. You'll work closely with product, engineering, and design teams to evaluate technical feasibility, prototype new capabilities, and help guide promising concepts from early experimentation through to production-ready implementation.
Key Responsibilities- Research emerging technologies, frameworks, and tools relevant to the company's product roadmap
- Design, build, and test proof-of-concept (PoC) and minimum viable product (MVP) solutions
- Collaborate with product, engineering, and design teams to translate research findings into actionable product features
- Analyze technical feasibility of new ideas and present recommendations to stakeholders
- Stay current with industry trends, competitor products, and technological advancements
- Document research findings, experiments, and technical specifications
- Contribute to the improvement of internal tools, processes, and development practices
- Support the transition of successful prototypes into production-ready solutions
- Work closely with senior engineers and architects to ensure alignment with overall technical strategy
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
- Minimum 5 years of experience in software development, with a track record of research-driven or innovation-focused projects
- Strong programming skills in one or more languages (e.g., Python, Java, JavaScript/TypeScript, C++)
- Experience with software architecture, system design, and API development
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
- Experience conducting technical feasibility studies or evaluating new technologies for adoption
- Solid understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a data-driven approach to decision-making
- Ability to work independently on ambiguous, open-ended problems
- Experience prototyping quickly and iterating based on findings
