About this role

About the Role:

We are seeking a leadership-driven Head of Property Management / Operations Manager to take 24/7 strategic and operational ownership of our portfolio of managed short-term rental properties. In this role, you will lead our on-ground property management, housekeeping, and field teams to ensure every unit is clean, functional, secure, compliant, and guest-ready at all times.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Property Readiness & Quality Standards: Define and enforce quality standards, hold final "guest-ready" sign-off authority, and implement structural fixes to minimize recurring failures.
  • Housekeeping & Laundry Management: Lead housekeeping capacity, enforce strict cleaning SLAs, manage in-house/outsourced laundry workflows, and maintain high QC pass rates and low re-clean rates.
  • Security, Access & Compliance: Oversee unit access security, investigate incidents using CCTV footage, coordinate with law enforcement (passport delivery/compliance), and maintain key relationships with building security and doormen.
  • Supplies, Warehousing & Petty Cash: Oversee warehouse inventory levels and stock replenishment; maintain non-negotiable accountability over field petty cash spending and weekly reconciliations.
  • Maintenance & Service Coordination: Act as the operational escalation owner for guest-impacting maintenance issues, utility disruptions, and facility maintenance.
  • Team Leadership & SOP Ownership: Hire, train, and manage the Property Operations team; define and enforce SOPs for turnovers, inspections, access, and logistics while managing functional department budgets.

Requirements & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Operations Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 4–6+ years of leadership experience in property management, hospitality operations, or short-term rental management.
  • Proven experience managing housekeeping, logistics, vendor relationships, and field operations teams.
  • Strong financial discipline with experience managing operational budgets and petty cash controls.
  • Exceptional crisis management abilities, strong leadership, and willingness to maintain 24/7 availability for urgent, escalated operational matters
