About this role

Talent 360 is hiring a Footwear Fashion Designer to join our team.

This is a full-time opportunity for a creative and detail-oriented designer with a strong passion for footwear and fashion. The ideal candidate has 1–2 years of footwear design experience and a strong understanding of trends, materials, colors, and commercial product development.

About the Role

You will be responsible for developing footwear concepts from initial research and sketches through sample development, while collaborating with product development and production teams to create commercially relevant collections.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop footwear concepts for seasonal and ongoing collections.
  • Research footwear trends, silhouettes, colors, materials, and market directions.
  • Create sketches, mood boards, colorways, and design presentations.
  • Select appropriate materials, finishes, colors, and design details.
  • Collaborate with product development and production teams throughout the development process.
  • Review samples, fittings, and prototypes and make design revisions when needed.
  • Ensure designs align with the brand’s aesthetic, target customer, and commercial objectives.
  • Maintain organized design files and presentations.
  • Stay updated on footwear, fashion, and competitor trends.

  • Working Days: Sunday to Thursday
  • Working Hours: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM or 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM
  • Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design, Applied Arts, or a related field is preferred.
  • 1–2 years of experience in footwear or fashion design.
  • Previous footwear design experience is required.
  • Proficiency in design tools is a must (e.g., Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, or other relevant design software).
  • Strong understanding of footwear trends, styling, colors, and materials.
  • Basic understanding of footwear components and manufacturing processes.
  • Ability to develop sketches, mood boards, and design concepts.
  • Strong creativity and attention to detail.
  • Good communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
  • Commercial mindset with a strong interest in fashion and footwear.
