Job Title: Plumbing Technician | Reports to: Site Foreman / Facility Electrician | Location: Homestead, FL 33030
Job Summary:
The Flowery is a leading cannabis cultivation and production company committed to quality, sustainability, and excellence. We are seeking a skilled Plumbing Technician to maintain and repair plumbing, irrigation, water distribution, drainage, and related facility systems. The ideal candidate has hands-on plumbing experience, strong troubleshooting skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform preventative maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting on plumbing and water systems.
- Install, repair, and maintain pipes, valves, fixtures, pumps, drains, and related equipment.
- Maintain and repair cultivation irrigation systems, including water lines, pumps, valves, and filters.
- Conduct routine inspections and respond to plumbing issues and emergencies.
- Assist with facility construction, renovations, and installation of new plumbing infrastructure and equipment.
- Read and follow blueprints, plumbing diagrams, and construction plans.
- Work with contractors and other team members on facility projects.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Follow applicable plumbing codes, safety regulations, company policies, and cannabis industry requirements.
- Communicate maintenance needs and project status to supervisors.
- Perform other duties as assigned within the scope of general maintenance.
- Local travel between locations may be required.
Requirements:
- Plumbing or trade school training is a plus but not required.
- Previous plumbing, maintenance, or skilled-trade experience required.
- Knowledge of plumbing, irrigation, pumps, valves, and water systems.
- Strong mechanical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to use hand and power tools safely.
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical/manual labor.
