Our Corporate Infrastructure & Construction department seeks a building maintenance supervisor. This role will oversee the general maintenance, custodial services, interior and exterior building finishes, furniture systems and workplace functionality across the organization's facilities. This role will also be responsible for leading a team of associates, managing vendor relationships, maintaining facility standards and supporting the safety, appearance and usability of our properties.
This position is based at our Headquarters in Fairfield, Ohio.
The pay range for this position is $85,000 - $100,000 annually. Pay is based on the applicant's education, experience, location, knowledge, skills and abilities. Eligible associates may also receive an annual cash bonus and stock incentives based on company and individual performance.
Be ready to:
- lead, supervise, develop and evaluate maintenance and custodial associates while ensuring service quality and accountability
- oversee general maintenance operations including event setups, restroom day-portering, snow removal, seasonal cleanings, pest control, waste management and maintenance inventory management
- manage the maintenance, repair, replacement, cleanliness and presentation of interior building systems including drywall, flooring, ceilings, paint, doors, casework, wall coverings and related finishes
- manage the maintenance, repair, replacement, architectural systems and equipment of exterior building systems including roofing, flashing, gutters, exterior caulking, exterior glazing systems, skylights, entry/exit doors, building envelope and façade, etc.
- lead and direct maintenance associates to support furniture moves, reconfigurations, additions and installations, including office and cubicle furniture, modular wall systems, conference room and common area furnishings, filing cabinets, protective glass tops, sit-to-stand workstations and other workplace furnishings and equipment
- manage preventative maintenance, inspections, work orders and asset documentation using the company's computerized maintenance management system
- coordinate and monitor work performed by contractors and vendors to ensure compliance with service agreements, safety requirements, project scopes and quality standards
- support budget planning, invoice review, cost control initiatives, capital improvement planning and vendor contract management
- manage small workplace projects including interior renovations, furniture reconfigurations and architectural system improvements
- respond to building emergencies and support facility operations during and outside normal business hours as needed
Be equipped with:

- knowledge of building systems, finishes, furniture systems and workplace services
- strong attention to detail and commitment to facility appearance, functionality and customer service
- effective verbal and written communication skills
- the ability to develop and maintain strong relationships with internal customers, associates and external vendors
- knowledge of workplace safety practices, regulatory compliance requirements and risk management principles
Bring education or experience from:
- a bachelor's degree in facilities management, construction management, business administration, engineering or a related field; or equivalent combination of education and progressively responsible facilities maintenance leadership experience
- experience supervising maintenance, custodial or facility operations teams
- experience managing operational budgets, vendor contracts and facility improvement projects
- professional facilities certifications such as FMP, SFP, CFM, PMP or equivalent credentials (preferred)
